RKGITM is one of the premier Institute in NCR, awarding B.Tech. in CSE ,IT, ECE, EN. The Institute has been approved by AICTE, Govt. of India for conducting Skill Development programmes for young student under PMKVY-TI to provide them better job opportunities.
The Skill India Mission has called for an integrated effort to step up skilling of youth under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojna (PMKVY). Technical Institutes have been identified to conduct the training courses under PMKVY – TI, in view of their available infrastructure and qualified training staff. RKGITM, Ghaziabad has successfully conducted training programme on 'Android Application' during last session 2016-17. About 95% students passed the assessment conducted by Telecom Sector Skill Council (TSSC) for the role of Telecom Terminal Equipment Application Developer (Android Application) confirming to National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF) level-4. The Certificates were distributed to qualified students on 2nd August 2017 and they are in the process of getting placement. The following programmes have been approved for the session 2017-18.
